A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash in Balham yesterday (Sunday).
Police were called just before midday yesterday (March 10) to reports of a crash between a car and a motorcycle on Balham High Road.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended the scene.
The rider of the motorbike – a man – was taken to hospital for treatment.
His injuries have been assessed as not life-threatening or life changing.
There has been no arrests at this stage and enquiries into the circumstances continue.
Road closures remain in place at the scene by Balham station.
Anyone with information that could help police is asked to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CAD2623/10Mar.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at approximately 11:50hrs on Sunday, 10 March to reports of a car in collision with a motorcycle in Balham High Road, SW12.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.
“The rider of the motorcycle – a man (no further details) – was taken to hospital for treatment; his injuries were later assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.
“No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances continue.
“Road closures remain in place at the scene by Balham station.
“Anyone with information that could assist police is asked to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CAD2623/10Mar.”
