A person has died after an incident at Clapham Junction station.
A casualty on the tracks was reported to police shortly after 7.30am today (March 20).
The person was pronounced dead shortly after.
The incident is not thought to be suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
South Western Railway confirmed that train services between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction are expected to be disrupted until 4pm.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “ We received a report shortly after 7.30am today (20 March) to a casualty on the tracks near Clapham Junction station.
“Paramedics and Fire also attended however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The incident is not thought to be suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
