Emergency services were called to a fire at a south London station.
Police and fire crews went to Balham underground station at around 8am this morning (Wednesday, April 10) to reports of a small fire by the train tracks.
London Fire Brigade extinguished the fire.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to Balham underground station at around 7.58am today (10 April) to reports of a small track side fire.
“London Fire Brigade also attended and the fire was extinguished.”
