South Wimbledon station was forced to close this morning after a dog entered its control room.
According to TfL, staff tried to persuade the dog back out into the street but instead the canine entered the control room, causing the station to shut customers 8.33am on April 13.
The dog's breed is currently unconfirmed by TfL but reports on social media suggest the dog may have been an XL bully.
TfL explained that the local council dog warden was called to remove the dog and the station had to remain closed until then.
The station has since reopened at 11.43am after the warden collected the dog.
