A popular Wetherspoons pub in Streatham is set to reopen following a £800,000 refurbishment project.
The Holland Tringham pub, located on Streatham High Road, is set to reopen at 8am on Tuesday, April 30.
An additional 20 full- and part-time jobs have been created at The Holland Tringham, which has been managed by pub manager Reka Szigeti since September 2022.
The pub, which first opened as a Wetherspoon in December 1998, has undergone a complete refurbishment to the customer area, as well as upgrades to the bar and other facilities.
The pub has been redecorated throughout, including the installation of new light fittings and a new carpet, as well as new customer toilets.
A new bar and back bar have been installed, with new glass racks, drinks dispense equipment, new glass wash and new coffee-making facilities.
A brand-new shop front, including internal lobby, has also been added to the pub, as well as enhancements made to the outdoor rear beer garden.
Behind the scenes, new upgraded staff facilities have also been added.
The Holland Tringham pub will be open from 8am until 12midnight Sunday to Thursday, and 8am until 1am Friday and Saturday.
Food will be served throughout the day, from opening until 11pm every day.
Pub manager Reka Szigeti said: “The £800,000 investment highlights Wetherspoon’s commitment to the pub and its staff and customers, as well as to the local area itself.
“I am delighted that we have also been able to create 20 new jobs for local people.
“My team and I are looking forward to welcoming customers back into The Holland Tringham and we’re confident that they will be impressed by the new-look pub.”
