One person has been arrested and another taken to hospital following a crash between a car and a moped in south west London.
Emergency services were called to Tooting Bec Road in south west London today (April 21) at around 1:20am to a crash involving a car and a moped.
The rider was taken to hospital, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The driver was arrested by police on suspicion of driving offences.
Enquiries into the incident continue and the road has since been reopened.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 01:20hrs on Sunday, 21 April to reports of a collision involving a car and moped on Tooting Bec Road, SW17.
“Officers attended. The rider was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.
“His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
“The driver has been arrested on suspicion of driving offences.
“Enquiries continue.
