Police are asking the public to call 999 immediately if they have any information about a man who is missing from his home in Surbiton.
Scott Thompson, 62, disappeared on April 15 and was last seen driving his dark grey Ford KA.
His last recorded location was his home at 12.44am.
Police are searching Thames Ditton Reach slipway in Kingston today after reviewing CCTV footage.
Police say there is no direct confirmation Scott entered the Thames, but the Marine Support Unit is involved in the case.
His family members are receiving support from specially dedicated officers.
Police continue to appeal for public assistance in their ongoing search.
Detective Superintendent Ian Cameron said: “We are very concerned for Scott’s welfare and its extremely important that we find him.
"If you have any information at all about Scott’s whereabouts, or see anyone matching Scott's appearance, please call 999 quoting reference 'Op Steele."
