A fire is under investigation by police after a flat was damaged in West Norwood.
Fire crews were called to Telford Avenue in West Norwood on Sunday, May 6, at around 10am.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to the scene.
Part of a flat with three rooms on the first floor was damaged by the blaze.
No injuries were reported and the incident was over at 11.30am.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a block of flats on Telford Avenue in West Norwood.
“Part of a three roomed flat on the first floor was damaged by the fire.
“There were no reports of any injuries.
“The Brigade was called at 10.06am and the incident was over for firefighters at 11.30am.
“Crews from Tooting, Clapham and West Norwood fire stations attended the scene.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.”
