A tiki-style bar and nightclub at the heart of Clapham Junction's nightlife is searching for a new owner.
Sugar Cane Bar, located on Lavender Hill, was established first 2007 and gathered a good reputation according to Google Maps reviews.
The listing estate agency Christie & Co shared the advert on Zoopla and refers to the late-night venue as a "profitable and established business."
The bar’s location on Lavender Hill, which is a five-minute walk from Clapham Junction station, makes it part of a vibrant commercial area in Battersea filled with shops, pubs, and restaurants.
The bar itself is full of tiki-hut booths and a bamboo cocktail bar with a distinct South Pacific theme.
The first floor can accommodate up to 100 customers standing and 80 seated there is also renovated basement nightclub with a capacity of 70.
Christie & Co adds that a fully-equipped commercial kitchen, a walk-in fridge, office rooms, and additional storage areas form part of the basement's layout.
The exterior of the bar has outdoor heating and covering as well as keeping to the unique tiki theme.
The future owner of the Sugar Cane bar can take advantage of its late 2am license and according to the listing, all staff members will remain with the business.
Data from the last financial year shows the bar accumulated a £740,000 annual turnover, net of VAT.
A 25-year lease, of which five years remain, will transfer onto the new owner and rent is currently set at £80,000 per annum.
On top of this, it has an upfront guide price of £100,000.
The landlord has also to extend the existing lease on assignment for incoming owners.
