An eight-year-old girl has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Ewell.
The incident between a pedestrian and a motorbike happened in London Road shortly after 3.30pm yesterday (June 4).
Officers were called to the scene and found the girl was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Two men, aged 23 and 44, have been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury through dangerous driving.
Road closures were put in place as the incident was dealt with but it has since reopened.
A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: “We are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Ewell.
“Officers were called to London Road (A24) in Ewell shortly after 3.30pm this afternoon (Tuesday, 4 June), following reports of a collision between the rider of a motorbike and a pedestrian at the location.
“The road was closed but has now been fully reopened.
“The pedestrian, an eight-year-old girl, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“Two men, aged 23 and 44, have been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury through dangerous driving.
“Were you in the area around London Road in Ewell between 3pm and 4pm this afternoon?
“Do you have any CCTV, dash cam or helmet cam footage that may have captured all or part of this incident?”
