A person has been left with life-changing injuries after an incident at New Malden station.
A casualty on the tracks was reported to police at the station in Coombe Road just before 10.15am on June 8.
London Ambulance Service crews attended and a person was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries.
Southwestern Railway confirmed on X (formally known as Twitter) that New Malden station was closed as the incident was dealt with.
In an update at around 1pm, it added that all services returned to normal but disruption continued until 7pm.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to New Malden railway station at around 10.12am on Saturday (8 June) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended and a person was taken to hospital with life-changing but not life-threatening injuries.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious.”
