A man has been charged after a jewellery shop was robbed in Richmond, with the shop worker dying the next day.
Police were called to 247 Kettles on Kew Road shortly before 3pm on Saturday, May 25.
Two unarmed men entered the shop and assaulted Oliver White, the member of staff working that day, before stealing £2 million worth of high value watches.
On Sunday, May 26, police were made aware of Oliver's death.
His death is being investigated by Surrey Police and is not being treated as suspicious.
Junior Kunu, 29, of Lancaster Avenue, Mitcham, was charged with robbery on Wednesday, June 5 in relation to the incident.
He appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, June 6 where he was remanded in custody to appear at Kingston Crown Court on Thursday, July 4.
