Superdrug is hosting an in-store party for its 60th birthday - complete with a DJ, product demos and beauty giveaways.

The beauty brand will celebrate 60 years on the British high street with a birthday bash at Croydon’s Centrale Shopping Centre store on Saturday, June 16.

Shoppers are invited to join the celebrations from 10am until the store closes with a DJ, demonstrations of new products and the chance for 100 lucky beauty fans to win a goody bag filled with exclusive items worth up to £35.

Superdrug will also introduce exclusive limited-edition 60th Birthday products, including a Fruity Rainbow Sherbert shower gel, Candy Floss candle, the popular Mine Mist in Vanilla and a Superdrug Extracts Body Scrub.

The special edition birthday products can be found both in-store and online.

Health & Beauty Card Members will also get big birthday savings on Superdrug’s Own Brand and Exclusive products, which will be on offer with a 60 per cent discount.

These offers include a range of products, such as Superdrug Extracts, selected Oral B Toothbrushes and Garnier Skin Summer Body ranges

During the birthday celebrations, iconic beauty products from the 90s will once again grace Superdrug shelves.

Customers will see the return of cult classics like Heather and Coffee Shimmer lipsticks by Rimmel, along with limited-edition e.l.f. Jelly Pop lip glosses.

For even more birthday savings, a variety of everyday essentials will be slashed to just 60p.

Items include face wipes, cotton pads and face masks.

The 60th birthday celebrations will be held at the Superdrug store at Unit 13-17, Centrale Shopping Centre, Croydon, CR0 1TY on June 16, from 10am until 6.30pm.
