Four people have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a fight in Epsom.
Officers were called to Godwin Close at around 11.45pm on June 28.
Three men in their 30s, 40s and 50s, and a woman in her 40s, and were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, grievous bodily harm and affray.
All involved were known to each other, and police believe it to be an isolated incident.
The community's safety has been reassured with increased local patrols, while the arrested individuals remain in custody.
Police continue to investigate, appealing for any witnesses around 11.45pm in the area of Godwin Close to contact them.
A spokesperson for Epsom Police said: “Three men in their 50s, 30s and 40s and one woman in her 40s have been arrested for a number of offences including attempted murder, grievous bodily harm and affray.
“They remain in custody whilst the investigation is ongoing.”
Inspector Kelly Clifton-Sinclair, Borough Commander for Epsom and Ewell said: “I would like to reassure resident in Epsom that this was an isolated incident and those arrested were all known to each other, we do not have any wider concerns for the safety of the community.
“We have increased patrols in the local area for reassurance purposes and enquiries are ongoing.
“We are also appealing to anything who were in the area of Godwin Close at around 11:45pm last night and may have witnessed anything to contact us quoting PR/45240072989.”
