A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash in Mitcham this morning.
Emergency services responded to the crash on London Road at around 9.42am on July 2.
Images from the scene show a car spun in the wrong direction, with a traffic light knocked down and debris scattered across the road.
Ambulance crews arrived within four minutes and treated a woman at the scene before transporting her to a major trauma centre.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 9.42am on Tuesday 2 July to reports of an incident in London Road, Mitcham.
“We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews and a paramedic in a fast response car.
“The first of our crews arrived in four minutes.
“We treated a woman at the scene, before taking her to a major trauma centre.”
