A busy road in Croydon was closed today after a man was threatening to self-harm at an address nearby.
The A236 Old Town northbound, from the A232 (The Croydon Flyover) to Croydon Minster, was closed this afternoon - from around 12pm - while police and ambulance crews were at the scene.
The man has now been placed in the care of medical professionals and the incident stood down by police.
