A man has been taken to hospital after a person was found in the water near Carshalton High Street.
London Ambulance Service were called just before 6pm on Sunday (July 14) to reports of a person in the water.
An ambulance crew and a paramedic went to the scene.
The fist paramedics were at the scene in less than six minutes.
A man was treated at the scene and taken to hospital as a priority.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 5.57pm on Sunday 14 July to reports of a person in the water near High Street, Carshalton, SM5.
“We sent an ambulance crew and a paramedic in a first response car to the scene.
“Our first paramedics were on scene in less than six minutes.
“We treated a man at the scene and took him to hospital as a priority.”
