A brand-new family-friendly pub will be ready to serve guests in Tooting this Thursday.

The Tooting Tavern, on 196 Tooting High Street, will take the place of the former Manor Bar Tooting and guests can expect a warm welcome in the freshly renovated pub along with a new menu and lots of exciting features.

Guests can enjoy the new updates including the addition of a pizza oven to the garden and the inclusion of local favourites including burger night, steak night, seasonal specials and Sunday roasts every week.

The pub is ready for a good old British summer with its new covered back garden with outside TV and new decked seating area.

The Tooting Tavern will show a range of sports both inside and outside the pub.

The drinks menu has also been designed to include a craft beer range, rotating cask ales, new cocktails, and weekly drink deals on cocktails, shots, and fizz.

There will be popular events such as the weekly quiz night held every Thursday at 8pm, along with weekly live music events.

The Tooting Tavern will be family and dog-friendly and an absolute must-visit spot in the local area.

To make its first mark in the area and celebrate becoming The Tooting Tavern, the pub will be hosting a free entry family fun day on Saturday, July 27th, from 12-3 pm, featuring free food and drink, outdoor games with prizes, face painting, a balloon maker, a DJ, make-your-own pizza sessions, and pop-ups from other local businesses.

The new pub will also host bottomless brunches, rock karaoke nights, and a craft beer festival.

Following the extensive refurbishment and significant investment made, 15 new jobs have been created for the local area.
