A man has been taken to hospital after a crash on a busy road in Chessington.
Emergency services were called to Leatherhead Road yesterday (Tuesday, July 16) to reports of a crash.
London’s Air Ambulance was sent to the scene as well as an ambulance crew and a paramedic in a fast response car.
A man was treated at the scene before he was taken to hospital.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 5.33pm on Tuesday 16 July to reports of a road traffic collision in Leatherhead Road, Chessington.
“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and London’s Air Ambulance.
“Our crews treated a man at the scene, before taking him to a London major trauma centre by road.”
