A man has been rushed to hospital after a crash in Purley.
An ambulance crew went to the scene at the junction of Purley Way and Edgehill Road this morning (July 30) at around 8:22am.
A man was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
According to AA Maps, the road is closed on Purley Way northbound from Edgehill Road to Imperial Way following the crash, with traffic moving slowly in the area.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 8.22am on Tuesday 30 July to reports of an road traffic collision at the junction of Purley Way and Edgehill Road, Purley.
“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene, which arrived in four minutes.
“Our crews treated a man at the scene, before taking him to a London major trauma centre as a priority.”
