With the summer holidays here, many families are jetting off to a beachy holiday or taking a long drive to a British seaside.
Luckily for the people of Croydon, they don't need to spend money on going to the beach, when they can head off to Costa del Croydon, Centrale's new beach rooftop.
Costa del Croydon opened today (August 1) and will bring a holiday resort to the town, with the sand, sea, and a load of fun for everyone.
There is a giant sandpit complete with hammocks, buckets, and spades.
Anyone in the splash zone can get soaked, offering a refreshing way to cool off when the sun starts to heat up.
Like a real beach, you can get ice cream there, as well as candyfloss and popcorn.
While the kids play, adults can enjoy a drink at The Thirst Trap bar, and take in refreshing cocktails, summer lagers, or even a glass of wine.
Anybody willing to face the Sweeper Arm can have a go Flip Out, guaranteed to make you work up a sweat.
Croydon Steel Orchestra will also occasionally be on hand to perform a medley of summery music, bringing a tropical feel to the top floor of Centrale.
The beach and activities are free but slots should be reserved ahead of time here.
Costa del Croydon is open seven days a week with two sessions daily – 11.30am to 3pm and 3.30pm to 7.30pm, until August 28.
