Train services near Wimbledon and Surbiton have been disrupted after a person was hit by a train.
The disruption, affecting South Western Railway, is expected to last until 6pm today (August 4).
All lines were closed as the incident was dealt with by emergency services but it has since reopened.
National Rail confirmed on X (formally known as Twitter) that the incident has sparked a major disruption.
It has urged commuters to check before they travel and to use alternative routes if possible.
Replacement buses have been arranged to run which will run between Surbiton and Weybridge.
