A family-run pub in Tooting has officially reopened with a new look.
After an extensive four-week refurbishment, the Tooting Tavern, on 196 Tooting High Street, has reopened.
The pub has been given a facelift while keeping its traditional look and feel inside.
Changes include a new covered back garden with an outside TV and a new decked seating area, along with the very popular addition of a pizza oven which has seen pizzas flying out, especially on Mondays when they are buy one get one free.
As well as the pizzas, guests can also tuck into all the pub classics, beer-battered fish and chips, chicken and bacon burgers and sirloin steaks, as well as a range of Sunday roasts.
Along with the new food menu, guests will also be greeted with an extensive drinks menu, boasting a wide selection of craft beers, ciders and new to the menu – cocktails.
The Tooting Tavern has regular events, including rock karaoke on the second Friday of every month, making it a fantastic place to spend time with friends as well.
General manager Rachel George at The Tooting Tavern said: “We have been really blown away by the support from the locals and residents in this area.
“We are happy to be a part of such a great neighbourhood.
“We have some exciting new offers including NHS discount and we are launching student discount from September.
“We have also started showing the football and cannot wait for the new season to kick in properly.”
After the refurbishment, 15 jobs have been created for the area, with the team now ready to pour pints and serve food to guests.
The Tooting Tavern is open every day from 12pm to 11pm.
