A viral TikTok shows a pair finding a unique way to “hop on the bus”, by holding onto the outside as it drives through Sutton.

The video shows two males clinging onto the back of a number 80 bus with their feet only just above the vehicle’s license plate.

The bus is visibly moving while they are holding onto it as the bus drives around a corner and then pulls into a bus stop.

TikTok creator Sophie captioned the video: “Sutton is a wild place.”

Commenters were baffled by the behaviour of those in the video, with one saying: “I didn’t expect this from Sutton.”

While there is lots of debate in the comments about whether it is worth taking this risk considering that it costs £1.75 to ride the bus in London, another commenter said: “Why is everyone talking about the money side, maybe they are doing it to have some fun and make some memories.”

The video has a whopping 699,000 views, 104,400 likes and almost 1,000 comments and was posted on August 27, 2024.
