A person has been hit by a train near Selhurst station.
Trains between Balham and Selhurst have been disrupted since around 6.30pm today (September 19).
All lines between these stations are closed as the incident is being deal with by emergency services.
Trains may be cancelled, delayed or diverted until around 9pm.
The incident has caused delays on all Gatwick Express routes to and from London Victoria.
It also also affecting all Southern services between Watford Junction / Shepherds Bush/London Bridge and East Croydon, and between London Victoria and Sutton (Surrey) / Epsom Downs/Reigate/East Grinstead/Brighton/Littlehampton/Bognor Regis/Chichester / Portsmouth Harbour/Eastbourne.
National Rail confirmed on X (formally known as Twitter) to avoid the area if possible and use alternative routes.
