Some Southern trains will be cancelled, diverted or replaced by buses this week due to planned engineering work.

The work will affect trains from September 28 (Saturday) through to September 29 (Sunday).

We have compiled all the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this weekend.

 

Sunday (September 29):

Engineering work is taking place between West Croydon and Sutton, closing all lines.

No trains will operate between West Croydon and Sutton, or between Sutton and Epsom Downs.

Replacement buses will run between West Croydon and Epsom Downs via Sutton.

Before 9am, replacement buses will run between Balham / Streatham Hill and Epsom via Sutton.

After 9am, trains will run between London Victoria and Dorking through Sutton and Epsom.

 

Saturday and Sunday (September 28 and September 29):

Engineering work is taking place between Shepherds Bush and Watford Junction, closing some lines.

From 8pm on Saturday to 12pm on Sunday, no Southern trains will run between Shepherds Bush and Watford Junction.

Passengers will be able to use paper tickets on the London Underground between that time on:

Victoria to Euston (Victoria line)

Victoria to Shepherds Bush (Circle or Central line)

Victoria to West Brompton (District line)

Oxford Circus to Harrow & Wealdstone (Bakerloo line)
