A person was treated at the scene of a middle-of-the-night house fire in south London.
Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were called to a terraced house in Tradescant Road, Vauxhall at 2.23am on Friday, September 27.
An adult who suffered “minor smoke inhalation” was treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service.
The whole first floor of the house and parts of the second floor of the three-storey building were destroyed by the blaze.
The fire was under control by 5.25am and its cause is currently undetermined.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled a terraced house fire on Tradescant Road in Vauxhall.
“The entirety of the first floor and parts of the second floor of the three-storey building were destroyed by fire.
“One adult suffering minor smoke inhalation was treated on-scene by London Ambulance Service.
“The Brigade was called at 0223 and the fire was under control by 0525.
“Crews from Lambeth, Clapham, Peckham and surrounding fire stations attended the scene.
“The cause of the fire is undetermined.”
