Some Southern trains running through Croydon will be cancelled, diverted or replaced by buses this week due to planned engineering work.

The work will affect trains from September 30 through to October 4.

We have compiled all the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this week.

Monday to Friday (September 30 to October 4):

Engineering work is taking place between South Croydon and East Grinstead, closing all lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

After 10.45pm, trains will not run between London Victoria and East Grinstead, or between London Bridge and Crowborough / Uckfield.

Passengers can use alternative trains between London and East Croydon.

Replacement buses will run between East Croydon and Oxted / East Grinstead / Crowborough / Uckfield.

 

Monday to Thursday (September 30 to October 3):

Engineering work is also taking place between London Bridge and Norwood Junction, closing various lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

The 11.20pm train from London Victoria to London Bridge service will run non-stop from Streatham Hill to London Bridge.

A replacement bus will run from Streatham Hill to London Bridge calling at stations via Sydenham.

The 11.58pm train from London Bridge to Streatham Hill service will run non-stop from London Bridge to Streatham Hill.

A replacement bus will run from London Bridge to Streatham Hill calling at stations via Sydenham.

 

Tuesday to Friday (October 1 to October 4):

The 12.17am train from London Bridge to Caterham service will be diverted between London Bridge and Norwood Junction and will run later than usual.

The 12.30am train London Bridge to East Croydon service will be diverted between London Bridge and Norwood Junction and will run later than usual.

A replacement bus will run from London Bridge to Norwood Junction via Sydenham.
