Two men have been arrested after 24-year-old Dontae McLaren was stabbed to death in Clapham on Sunday (September 29).
Police, ambulance crews and air ambulance were called at 4.05am to reports of a large group fighting with knives on Wandsworth Road.
Three men were stabbed and 24-year-old Dontae McLaren was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Tuesday (October 1) a 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
Another man, 24, was arrested on Sunday, September 29 for the same offence and has been released on bail.
Specialist officers are supporting Dontae’s family.
A post-mortem examination is set to take place later today, according to police.
Two other victims - both also aged in their 20s - were taken to hospital for treatment.
One [Victim 2] was treated for injuries that were not deemed to be life-threatening; the third man [Victim 3] remains in hospital with serious, but not life threatening, injuries.
Detective Inspector James Massey said: “Our investigation is progressing well but we continue to appeal for any witnesses or those with information who may not yet have come forward.
“We also remind people who were in the area or live nearby to check their dashcam or private CCTV in case any of the attack or the aftermath was caught on camera.
“Dontae’s family are devastated by his loss, and we are doing everything we can to thoroughly investigate the circumstances of this tragic incident.”
