A man has been arrested after a pedestrian in his 70s died after being hit by a van in Wallington.
A man was hit by a box panel van on Manor Road near the Melbourne Road junction on October 1 at around 9.45pm.
London Ambulance Service attended alongside police, but he died at the scene.
The driver of the van stopped at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He was later released on bail.
The victim’s family is being supported by specialist officers.
Police are urging anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact them on 101 or via X @MetCC, quoting reference 7310/01OCT24.
