Plans to convert a house into an HMO building is among applications that have been approved by Sutton Council this week.
This week (September 30 to October 4), Sutton Council has approved and received a number of planning applications from conversions to erections of new buildings.
We have listed all the planning applications that have been submitted or approved this week.
We haven’t included any applications that are applying to clear conditions or awaiting decisions on prior approvals.
Plans to erect a single-storey side and extend a rear at 57 Wickham Avenue in North Cheam (DM2024/01161) and Glenwood 22 Balmoral Road in Worcester Park (DM2024/01167) have been approved.
Plans to erect an outbuilding on 20 Upper Road in Wallington (DM2024/01156) have received the thumbs up from Sutton Council.
A house on 41 Hackbridge Road will be converted from a dwellinghouse to a small HMO building housing six people (DM2024/01149).
The Royal Marsden Hospital will build a two-storey extension on the existing single-storey building for plant rooms and ventilation systems (DM2024/01127).
This approved project will include external access stairs, solar panels on the new flat roof, and alterations to the ground floor layout.
Residents of 11 Sandy Lane in South Wallington will be erecting an outbuilding to provide secondary accommodation (DM2024/00997).
A double garage on 75 Onslow Gardens in Wallington (DM2024/00751) is going to be demolished to make way for a detached single-storey building with roof accommodation, storage for bikes and bins, and car parking.
An application to turn the first and second floors of City House on Sutton Park Road into 10 homes was submitted this week (DM2024/01396).
On 87 Marlow Drive in North Cheam, an outbuilding might be demolished, and a new outbuilding could be built in its place (DM2024/01323).
There’s a plan to cut down a sycamore tree with major squirrel damage on 10 Mill Lane has been objected to (TREE2024/00093).
Finally, a garage on 1 Heron Close in Cheam has been given the green light to become a habitable room (DM2024/01147).
