Croydon drivers are enjoying a drop in unleaded petrol prices, so we’ve rounded up the cheapest petrol stations in the borough.
In July, the cheapest petrol price was 142.9p.
In October, the lowest price has fallen to 132.9p, mainly because there is too much supply in the wholesale market, which has reduced demand and lowered the price of Brent crude oil.
In Croydon, petrol stations are offering competitive rates, with Esso in Shirley leading the pack at just 132.9p per litre.
Lately, diesel prices at fuel stations are dropping faster than unleaded petrol prices.
But, even though both fuels are expected to get cheaper, the speed at which diesel prices go down compared to unleaded petrol might decrease.
Here are the cheapest places in Croydon where you can fill your tanks, according to PetrolPrice.
