Some South Western trains will be cancelled, diverted or replaced by buses this weekend due to maintenance work.

The work will affect trains on Saturday (October 26) and Sunday (October 27).

We have compiled all the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this week.

 

Saturday and Sunday (October 26 and October 27):

Guildford area:

The lines between Guildford and Havant will be closed all weekend due to maintenance work.

London Waterloo to Portsmouth via Guildford services will terminate at Guildford.

Buses will run between Guildford and Havant via Haslemere.

A revised service will run between Havant and Portsmouth.

 

Saturday and Sunday (October 26 and 27):

Redbridge area:

The lines in the Redbridge area will be closed all weekend due to maintenance work.

Beaulieu Road station will be closed all weekend.

London Waterloo to Weymouth services will terminate at Southampton Central.

Some services will call additionally at Shawford and Eastleigh.

Some services will call additionally at Swaythling and St Denys.

Winchester to Southampton Central stopping services will not run.

Southampton Central to Bournemouth stopping services will not run.

Brockenhurst to LymingtonPier services will not run.

A revised service will run between Brockenhurst, Bournemouth, Poole and Weymouth.

Salisbury to Romsey via Southampton services will run between Salisbury and Romsey only.

Fast buses will run between Southampton Airport Parkway and Bournemouth.

Buses will run between Southampton Central and Brockenhurst.

Buses will run between Brockenhurst and Lymington Pier.

Buses will run between Romsey and Eastleigh via Southampton Central.

On Sunday, London Waterloo to Weymouth services will terminate at Southampton Airport Parkway.

These services will call additionally at Eastleigh.

London Waterloo to Poole services will not run.

Passengers should travel on the revised London Waterloo to Portsmouth via Eastleigh services.

These services will call additionally at Farnborough and Shawford.

A revised service will run between Bournemouth, Poole and Weymouth.

Brockenhurst to LymingtonPier services will not run.

Southampton Central to Portsmouth stopping services will start from St Denys.

Salisbury to Romsey via Southampton services will run between Salisbury and Romsey only.

 

Sunday (October 27):

Barnes area:

Queenstown Road station will be closed all day.

Due to the diverted services, some services via Wimbledon will be revised.

London Waterloo to Reading services will be revised and will be diverted between Clapham Junction and Twickenham.

These services will call additionally at Wimbledon, Kingston and Strawberry Hill.

London Waterloo to Windsor services will be revised.

An hourly service will be diverted between Clapham Junction and Twickenham via Kingston calling at all stations.

An hourly service will start from Richmond calling additionally at St Margarets.

London Waterloo to London Waterloo via Richmond and Kingston services will be revised and will only run between Richmond and Kingston.

Buses will run between Clapham Junction and Twickenham via Richmond.

These buses will not call at St Margarets.

London Waterloo to Woking via Staines services will be revised and will start from Kew Bridge.

The afternoon and evening London Waterloo to Kingston via Hounslow services will not run.

Buses will run between Clapham Junction and Kew Bridge.

London Waterloo/Wimbledon to Guildford via Cobham services will start from Surbiton.

London Waterloo to Guildford via Woking services will be revised.

London Waterloo to Basingstoke/Alton services will be revised and will run hourly all day.

The afternoon London Waterloo to Salisbury stopping services will start from Reading.
