A man in his 30s was taken to hospital after being stabbed outside a pub in Whyteleafe.
The incident happened outside the Whyteleafe Tavern in Godstone Road at 5.30pm on October 30.
Officers were called to the scene and found a man who had been stabbed.
He was taken to hospital for treatment, however, he has since been released.
A 43-year-old man from Whyteleafe was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
Detective Inspector Jo Horner said: “There was a significant police presence in the area last night while police attended the scene, which resulted in the pub being shut for the evening.
“We want to reassure you that our teams are working hard to understand what happened and if you have any information that can help our investigation, please let us know.”
