Some South Western trains will be cancelled, diverted or replaced by buses this week due to maintenance work.
The work will affect trains from Saturday (November 16) and Sunday (November 17).
We have compiled all the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this week.
Saturday (November 16):
Winchester area:
The lines between Winchester and Eastleigh will be closed all day Saturday due to maintenance work.
The lines between Basingstoke and Southampton Central and also between Eastleigh and Fareham will be closed all day Sunday due to maintenance work.
London Waterloo to Weymouth services will be revised.
An hourly service will be diverted between Woking and Southampton Central calling additionally at Guildford, Havant and Fareham.
An hourly service will start from Eastleigh and will make additional stops between Southampton Central and Bournemouth.
London Waterloo to Portsmouth via Eastleigh services will terminate at Winchester.
Additional services will run between London Waterloo and Winchester.
Winchester to Southampton Central stopping services will not run.
Buses will run between Winchester and Eastleigh.
A revised service will run between Eastleigh and Portsmouth.
Southampton Central to Bournemouth stopping services will not run.
Sunday (November 17):
London Waterloo to Weymouth services will be revised.
These services will be diverted between Woking and Southampton Central calling additionally at Guildford, Havant and Fareham.
A revised service will run between London Waterloo and Basingstoke.
Buses will run between Basingstoke and Southampton Central via Eastleigh.
A revised service will run between Southampton Central, Bournemouth, Poole and Weymouth.
Buses will run between Basingstoke and Fareham via Eastleigh.
A revised service will run between Fareham and Portsmouth.
Salisbury to Romsey via Southampton Central services will terminate at Southampton Central.
Buses will run between Southampton Central and Romsey via Eastleigh.
A statement on the South Western Railway website says: “Are you travelling late evening or early morning?
“Your journey may be affected by emergency repairs or planned work.
“Please check if you are planning to travel after 10pm or before 5.30am as buses may replace trains at short notice.”
