As the holiday season begins, towns and cities are aglow with Christmas lights, and Croydon is joining in on the festive spirit.
BOXPARK Croydon is hosting their Christmas Light Switch-On Variety Show on Friday, November 29, and will be accompanied with live music and festive entertainment.
From 6pm, visitors can enjoy live performances from Lewisham-born comedian and actress Michelle de Swarte, comedian Kryah Gray, the Keynotes Choir, and DJ Jay Knox.
These stars will lead up to the Christmas Light Switch-On at 7pm.
The event is free to attend and promises a lively evening of festive entertainment, perfect for all ages.
From 8pm, only over 18s will be permitted.
There will be a range of activities to take part in, including the Christmas Carol’oke competition.
Lucky winners will get a prize of £250.
There are also VIP tables available from £120 for up to six guests.
VIPs will receive ABSOLUT’s winter cocktails on arrival.
People can buy VIP tickets or secure their free spot on the BOXPARK website.
Physical ID will be required and bag and body searches will be taking place.
