Some South Western trains will be cancelled, diverted or replaced by buses this week due to maintenance work.

The work will affect trains on Saturday (November 23) and Sunday (November 24).

We have compiled all the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this week.

 

Saturday (November 23):

The lines between St Denys and Fareham will be closed all day due to maintenance work.

Southampton Central to Portsmouth stopping services will not run.

Buses will run between Southampton Central and Fareham.

A revised service will run between Fareham and Portsmouth.

Salisbury to Romsey via Southampton services will terminate at Eastleigh.

 

Saturday and Sunday (November 23 and November 24):

Haslemere area:
The lines in the Haslemere area will be closed all weekend due to maintenance work.

On Saturday, the London Waterloo trains to Portsmouth via Guildford services will terminate at Guildford.

Replacement buses will run between Guildford and Petersfield via Haslemere.

A revised service will run between Petersfield and Portsmouth.

On Sunday, the London Waterloo trains to Portsmouth via Guildford services will terminate at Guildford.

Replacement buses will run between Guildford and Havant via Haslemere.

A revised service will run between Havant and Portsmouth.

 

Sunday (November 24):

Aldershot area:

The lines in the Aldershot area will be closed all day due to maintenance work.

London Waterloo to Alton services will not run.

Passengers from London Waterloo should travel on the London Waterloo to Basingstoke stopping services to Farnborough.

Replacement buses will run between Farnborough and Alton via Aldershot.

These services will call in Bentley village.

Guildford to Ascot via Aldershot services will not run.

Replacement buses will run between Guildford and Ascot via Aldershot.

 

Sunday (November 24):

Southampton Central area:

The lines in the Southampton Central area will be closed all day due to maintenance work.

Beaulieu Road station will be closed all day.

London Waterloo to Weymouth services will terminate at Southampton Airport Parkway.

These services will call additionally at Eastleigh.

London Waterloo to Poole services will not run.

Passengers should travel on the revised London Waterloo to Portsmouth via Eastleigh services.

These services will call additionally at Farnborough and Shawford.

Brockenhurst to Lymington services will not run.

A revised service will run between Bournemouth, Poole and Wareham.

Southampton Central to Portsmouth stopping services will not run.

A revised service will run between Fareham and Portsmouth.

Salisbury to Romsey via Southampton services will run between Salisbury and Romsey only.

Replacement buses will run between:

Eastleigh, Southampton Airport Parkway, and Bournemouth

Southampton Central, Christchurch, and Bournemouth
