Firefighters have tackled a fire at a disused single storey building in New Addington.
Crews were called to reports of the fire by North Downs Park Road at 3.39pm today (November 28).
Firefighters attended and extinguished a fire affecting the roof of the building.
There have been no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade's Control Officers received around eight calls about the fire.
Fire engines from Addington, Biggin Hill and Croydon fire stations were sent to the scene.
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade said “several callers” reported the fire was located at a former RSPCA building – this is yet to be confirmed.
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade said: “We were called to reports of a fire at a property by North Downs Park Road in North Addington this afternoon.
“Firefighters attended and extinguished a fire affecting the roof of a disused single-storey building.
“There have been no reports of any injuries.
“The Brigade's Control Officers received around eight calls about the fire.
“The Brigade was called at 3.39pm and fire engines from Addington, Biggin Hill and Croydon fire stations were sent to the scene.”
