Police are appealing for witnesses nearly four months after a fatal crash in Battersea, where a motorbike passenger died.

Officers were called at 2.30am on Thursday, August 1, to reports of an injured woman on Silverthorne Road.

Upon arrival, they found 23-year-old Carolina Ramirez Jimenez, believed to have been the side passenger on a Yamaha motorbike, with a serious head injury.

She was taken to a south London hospital but later died. Her family has been informed and continues to be supported by officers.

Two men, aged 23 and 34, were arrested on suspicion of motoring offences, including causing death by dangerous driving.

They have been bailed pending further investigations.

No vehicles were found at the scene, but officers have been conducting ongoing inquiries.

Detectives are now urging anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may have seen the motorbike or a dark-coloured Range Rover, to come forward.

They are also asking for dashcam footage from anyone who may have recorded the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 020 8543 5157 or 101, quoting CAD 710/01Aug.
