A list of things Craig helped me come up with, of things I love about living in the UK, and why it therefore doesn’t suck that we’re no longer in the beautiful, gorgeous Paris, where we spent last weekend:
My family are here
My friends are here
Purple (my favourite restaurant in Streatham)
Posh (my goldfish – although she’s fairly portable)
My dressing table
Sons and Daughters (my favourite band)
My job
Cadbury’s Crème Eggs
Tinned artichokes from Sainsburys
Sainsburys in general
The London Eye
St James’ Park
Piccadilly Circus
English tea
Films not being dubbed
Kettle Chips
The London Paper
The music scene in the UK
Smints
Squirrels (didn’t see many in Paris)
My house
De Hems (another pub I like, near Chinatown)
The good, traditional British boozer...
...although this list was made in the Oast House ‘pub’ at London Bridge rail station, which is about two metres long, has no toilets, and was playing My Chemical Romance.
sigh.. . Oh Paris...
