I didn’t even get one response from my first blog, however I am not one to be beaten and will persist!
As mentioned previously I walk to work every day. On the way, I pass East Croydon Station tracks and the infamous Lunar House. Now the mornings and evening are getting darker, one thing that worries me as a woman walking on her own is the lack of police I see walking the local streets of Croydon. Fair enough there is usually a meat wagon in the high street and I have even see police on horses there. But what about the quieter streets, where I would imagine, it is more likely I would get attacked? On the way to work every day this week I have seen at least one traffic warden walking their beat, so where are the policemen of Croydon walking their beat?
On a lighter note, I went to see the musical Wicked on Friday evening last week – very entertaining and I would definately go back and see it again. Highly recommended and only two stops on the train from East Croydon!
