A child has been rushed to hospital following a Sutton house fire.
The young boy, believed to be aged between five and seven, suffered smoke inhalation in the blaze at the two-storey Lind Road property.
London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade (LFB) were called to the address at 2.15pm yesterday.
Two fire engines attended and firefighters had the blaze under control half an hour later.
A LFB spokesman said the fire damaged 10 per cent of the building’s ground floor.
Police confirmed they are not treating the fire as suspicious.
