A knife-wielding robber threatened staff and grabbed cash and cigarettes in a Sutton shop raid.
The suspect wore a black plastic bag with eye holes over his head in the strike on Robins Food and Wine convenience store, Stafford Rd, Wallington.
He threatened staff with a knife and then grabbed cash and cigarettes before escaping furing the attack on Tuesday April 14 at 4.10pm.
A police spokesman said the man dumped his makeshift disguise and ran along Stafford Road toward the police station before turning into Francis Road The spokesman said: “The suspect was white, aged in his teens, with blond, highlighted hair.
“He was of slight build and wearing a black tracksuit.
“He was carrying a white plastic bag.”
