Confident manager Steve Cordery isn’t fussed by who Staines Town are paired up with in the play-offs this weekend.

The Swans will come up against either AFC Hornchurch, Carshalton Athletic or Sutton United in next Tuesday’s massive semi-final.

Staines will face whatever team finishes the campaign in fifth place and after long-since securing second spot, Cordery’s side meet Margate this weekend hoping to get some pre play-off momentum going.

Cordery said: “To be honest we aren’t overly bothered that the side occupying fifth place keeps changing week after week.

“I just want Tuesday to come! I hate all the waiting and everyone is getting a bit restless, I’m fed up of it. The sooner Tuesday arrives the better but I’m not bothered by what team we get given.

“They are still fighting until the end to get into the play-offs while we’ve known for some time that we will be second.

“These big games are all about the day. You have to get it right on the occasion and I think we are more than capable of beating anyone.”

Staines host relegation threatened Margate on Saturday. Kick-off is at 3pm at Wheatsheaf Park.
