Police officers hit the streets to educate parents and young people about drugs on Tuesday.
Officers from the Safer Sutton Partnership Service handed out information on drug treatment services as part of National Tackling Drugs week.
A police spokesman said young people showed most interest in learning about the reclassification of cannabis from a class C to a class B drug.
Officers, parked a mobile unit outside Waterstone’s bookshop, Sutton High Street, on Tuesday, and handed out leaflets detailing the local support services, and provided information about Frank, the drugs advice charity.
