A colourful mosaic celebrating the 10th anniversary of an older people’s club has been unveiled.
Tom Brake MP unveiled the 4ft artwork, made by members of the Cloverdale Court Day Club to celebrate its first decade.
Established by Friends of the Elderly, the club serves people in Wallington, Carshalton and Sutton who are over 60 years old five days a week.
Manager Wendy Carpenter said the design, which is dominated by a smiling sun and a circle of happy faces, was inspired by members.
She said: “It’s such an achievement to be celebrating our 10th birthday.”
