Flower girls were out in force on Saturday, as a botanical institute in Tulse Hill threw open its doors for an open day.
The South London Botanical Institute in Norwood Road opened its doors to the public as part of the Open Garden Squares Weekend, intended to let private gardens across London be accessible to everyone.
The Institute - which provides facilities for the study of plants including ecology and conservation - is usually only open to its members.
