Do you fancy being the next Shakespeare or JK Rowling?
Young people are offered the chance to meet local authors, creative writing tutors, publishers, and other representatives from the book trade at Upper Norwood library this Saturday.
Young wordsmiths can attend advice sessions, workshops, readings and talks at The Writer’s Day - the first event of its kind in the area.
There will be tips on writing short stories, poetry, movie screenplays, reviews, drama and novels, as well as blogs and even keeping a diary.
At least 10 authors from the Crystal Palace and Upper Norwood areas will be attending to offer their words of wisdom.
The event is due to run from 10am to 5pm at the library in Westow Hill.
