Two brothers who claim they are Tooting’s answer to Elvis and Tom Jones are to headline an event at Battersea Arts Centre this summer.
Joel and Daniel Ewens, from Tooting Bec Road, will serenade audiences in an Elvis Summer Festival held on August 7.
The pair, who have been trained to sing from the cradle by their soul singer mother Joyce, specialise in tributes to Elvis and Tom Jones.
Joel has performed on stages in Las Vegas and was a finalist in the BBC’s World’s Greatest Elvis.
The 27-year-old said: “It’s to celebrate Elvis week and the 32nd anniversary of the king's departure from these realms.
“This show promises to be the closest you can get to a live Elvis concert.”
The event begins at 2pm and ends at 11pm, with stalls, memorabilia and different tribute acts appearing through the day.
