Strikers Danny Webber and Freddie Sears could be on the verge of joining Crystal Palace, with both understood to favour a move to the south London club.
Webber, released by Sheffield United at the end of last season, has been linked with the Eagles ever since his former boss Neil Warnock took over at Selhurst Park.
While Warnock recently denied rumours the two were close to a deal, Webber told Sky Sports this week a move to SE25 would be something he would consider.
He said: "If it felt right and the club is ambitious, which Neil always is, then I would definitely consider going there.
"Obviously I have worked with Neil at Sheffield United, so linking up with him again would definitely be something I would be interested in.
"I am speaking to a number of clubs at the moment and I've had a few offers from abroad as well, but I'm currently talking to a couple of clubs in England about joining them."
The Eagles look like winning the race for West Ham youngster Sears though, with the 19-year-old set to turn down Peterborough United and Sheffield Wednesday in order to stay in London on a season-long loan.
